Simple to operate, the Closomat Palma Vita is purpose-designed to combine a conventional WC with an integrated washing and drying cycle. It is the only toilet of its kind, specifically developed for elderly and disabled people, that is designed to properly support the user & position them correctly for effective washing and drying.

One push of the elbow pad activates a highly effective flush, wash and drying cycle. Alternatively, this can be operated by a remote control, a movement-sensitive ‘Proxy’ switch or the most popular pneumatic hand/ foot switch. UK manufactured from high-grade materials including stainless steel spray arm, impact resistant UV-protected plastics and ceramic bowl, manufactured in Closomat’s own factory in the Potteries.

Soft Seats Options
Junior, Adult and Adult Open Fronted (‘Horse shoe’). All soft seats are made from hygienic, closed cell foam, supplied in a dark blue colour to aid the visually impaired.

Big John Seat
The Big John bariatric toilet seat is essential for anyone who is larger framed. With an increased surface area and weight capacity of up to 57 stones, the Big John toilet seat provides a safer and more comfortable platform for larger clients.

Alternative Douche Arms
The stainless steel douche or spray arm, is available in Standard, Extended or Twin Spray options depending on the needs of the user. All douche options are included in the price.

Control Options
In addition to being operated by the elbow pads located on the sides of the cistern, 3 further control options are available
• Touch Sensitive Switch – This device is for those users who are unable to use the standard elbow pads. Air operated, no electricity is required to operate it, only very light pressure. Can be pre-set for the wash/dry cycle as ‘one-touch’ operation or ‘press and hold’ option.
• Proxy Switch – Sensitive to movement, the Proxy Switch allows users with little or no grip to activate the unit, simply by passing their hand/ body-part in front of the sensor.
• Infrared Remote Control – This simple, press button, ‘TV-type’ control, provides a versatile option, particularly useful when used by carers.

Integrated Fold Down Support Arms
Robust and secure support arms designed and manufactured specifically for the Closomat. This convenient support system not only folds out of the way to aid side transfer from a wheelchair, it also has a number of additions that can further aid the user’s stability.

Soft Arm Sleeves
Easy to fit, the Soft Arm Sleeves provide a comfortable, hygienic and stylish dimension to the Integrated Fold-down Support Arms.

Lateral Body Supports
Easily adjustable, these comfortable additions help to provide extra lateral support and stability to the user, used in conjunction with the Integrated Fold-down Support Arms.

Plinths
A plinth may be used to raise the whole unit to accommodate a different user height. Also for use with a shower chair or to aid direct wheelchair transfer. Available in 25, 50, 75 and 100mm heights.

Infill Panel
The Infill Panel has been designed to aid installations where pipework inhibits the Palma Vita from being located against the wall. The Infill Panel is available in depths of 25mm, 50mm & 75mm. The infill panel is 100mm taller than the Palma Vita and must be cut from the bottom to suit the finished toilet height.
