Chair beds are specially designed to help restore mobility and independence to people who are struggling to transfer to and from bed without assistance. Chair beds – such as the One Rehab Revolve Rotating Chair Bed – are multifunctional solutions. Simple to use and with a touch of a button, the bed seamlessly and safely rotates the user unassisted from a lying to seated position. The bed automatically adjusts to the correct height before rotating and comes as standard with handrails and lift and lock safety sides.

Turning Chair Bed Benefits

Turning chair beds are designed to be used by elderly and disabled patients with low mobility. Each bed is fitted with a profiling mattress platform which can be turned and adjusted to form a chair allowing the user to enter or exit the bed without the need for carer intervention. This means that a user won’t get stuck in a chair when they would like be in bed, or vice versa.

The 5-section profiling action includes high-low adjustment and enables multiple positioning for supreme comfort. The bespoke pressure relieving mattress comes with a waterproof stretch fabric cover. The mattress has been designed to be attached to the profiling action, therefore preventing mattress slippage. The headboard, footboard and the safety side-rails are manufactured in an attractive wood finish whilst the additional handrails offer increased user safety and support.

RotoBed Free is tested up to 225 kg, and with the possibility of extra low bed height down to 32 cm it is suitable for tall, small and heavier users. With the simple and comprehensive remote control, it takes just the push of a button to go from lying to standing up, in under a minute!

RotoBed®SafeSleep – the luxury mattress

4-layer quality mattress combining comfort and optimal pressure distribution. RotoBed®SafeSleep offers prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in stages 1-3. The 4 layers each have characteristics that increase flexibility and airflow, reducing the shear effect. Naturally produced without CFC and is CertiPur and Oekotex-100 certified.
