The team had fun helping out on the set of Line of Duty, at the Titanic Film Studios in Belfast in November 2020 🎬
In the latest episode in April 2021, the BBC drama showed a tense scene where a police car crashed into a reservoir, which was filmed at night time at South Woodburn Reservoirs. But the close-up shots of the actors were filmed in a water tank at Titanic Film Studios.
Sync Living supplied and operated a Freeway Transactive Xtra ceiling track hoist, which supported actors and camera crew while filming in the water tank. And it really was as chilly as it looks! 🥶 The hoist helped lift crew and equipment in and out of the tank. We also used a shower chair, which was submerged under the water in the tank, and helped support the crew.
The actors Tommy Jessop, Gregory Piper and the team of camera crew did a wonderful job despite the cold, and put on a performance that had us all on the edge of our seats. Tommy Jessop is the first actor with Down syndrome to star in a prime-time BBC drama, and he’s an amazing, personal and friendly guy!
