TiLite and Handcycle

Davy Kerr has been a wheelchair user since he was involved in a motorbike accident when he was 19. This accident has never stopped him from aspiring to achieve his personal goals; world ranking para-triathlete to Swimming the English Channel – whilst never leaving Cascades Swimming Pool. Davy is a keen Triathlete and is now training for the Commonwealth 2018 Games in Australia and the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

When Davy isn’t cycling around Northern Ireland or Swimming from France to England he uses a TiLite ZRA for his daily tasks. The ZRA oozes style with its mono-tube titanium TiFit frame whilst offering the user a smooth ride and unparalleled comfort even over rough or uneven surfaces.

Davy has an incomplete spinal injury and leads a very active life whether it be work, social or sports. Davy selected the Tilite ZRA as his day chair because he wanted a chair that was strong yet flexible to cope with his busy daily schedule. Davy needed a chair that was lightweight so he could easily pop it in and out of the car and also a wheelchair that was stylish and fitted like a glove.
