About the Changing Places at the Dundrum Town Centre and Sync Living
Andrew Smyth, Sync Living Changing Places Specialist, is satisfied with the results of the Changing Places at the Dundrum Town Centre.
Andrew commented on the Changing Places at the Dundrum Town Centre that:
Dundrum Town Centre is Ireland’s largest shopping centre with over 169 tenants, almost 140,000 m² square metres of floor space, and over 3,400 car parking spaces. It is located just south of the town centre of Dundrum. The centre management are to be commended on investing in this excellent Changing Places facility in their pursuit to be accessible and inclusive.
It was a pleasure to guide from early stage planning through to completion in line with Changing Places / BS8300:2018 guidelines. The facility provides high quality products and finishes in keeping with the ethos of the centre. Now a greater percentage of the 18million visitors to the centre per annum who live with a disability can enjoy the Dundrum Town Centre experience without having concerns in relation to toileting / changing amenities. It my hope that other shopping centres and public venues throughout Ireland will follow Dundrum Town Centres’ lead.
